Celebrates 30 Years Serving Central Ohio
August 25, 2022 – Columbus, OH Columbus-based information technology staffing and consulting firm Proteam Solutions Inc. (PSI) is celebrating a milestone this year: 30 years of service to the central Ohio community. The evolutionary organization, founded by Keith Stevens, commemorates the anniversary with the succession of ownership to the PSI senior leadership team of Monica Dominic and Monty Ragland.
“Keith suggested that we consider buying the business from him as we looked at the next chapter for PSI,” said Ragland, now President and CEO of PSI. “I felt humbled and honored that they trusted me enough to bless me with the opportunity. We’ve created and documented a vision together and we all want to see that vision continue to evolve and mature.”
Ragland and Dominic, who serves as Chief Client Officer, have played a significant role in the organization for the last 10 years, aiding in the team’s growth and sustainability through the COVID-19 pandemic, economic and workforce challenges, and more.
“It was a two-plus year succession planning exercise with Monica and Monty that ultimately transitioned ownership of PSI to them,” stated Stevens. “And while we had several opportunities to sell the business to interested parties it was important for us to work with Monica and Monty to make this happen. They intend to preserve the PSI culture and continue the legacy that began on September 2, 1992. I am confident that they will grow the business and maintain the years of commitment to the Columbus community.”
Stevens started PSI with a $500 loan and a drive to provide employment opportunities to areas of Columbus that otherwise would not have had access to them. Since the founding, PSI has provided thousands of jobs to a variety of individuals not just in Columbus, but around the country.
“Keith has given 30 years of service to the growth of PSI and to the Columbus community,” said Dominic. “He has created a legacy that we want to see live on. We pledge to take the reins and continue to serve, solve, and deliver with Keith’s vision as a guide.”
The team plans to continue business as usual following the transition and has taken the preliminary steps to ensure clients and consultants do not encounter any interruptions.
