PSI Consultant Reduces Risk and Improves Security for Academic Medical Center
The Background
The Risk Assessment team at a major medical provider needed additional bandwidth to increase the number of monthly assessment reports to reduce backlog, and more efficiently meet the needs of the medcenter.
The Approach
PSI provided a consultant to help improve efficiency in the client’s data recovery process as well as preventing any breach of sensitive data, especially PHI (protected health information).
The Results
In the six months PSI’s consultant has been working on the project she has successfully provided a drastic reduction in turnaround time with the client’s reports, reduced risk, maintained security of PHI, and prevented any data loss.
